There are many hidden miracles in every city that are unknown even for the inborn people. As a tourist, we mainly have no chance to find these treasures. Unless we take part in the exclusive, themed sightseeing tours of Beyond Budapest.

If you are already beyond the mandatory loops (Buda Castle, Parliament, party district), you maybe would like to look into the depths of the heart of the capital. Many hidden wonders, stories, monuments, grand buildings and the legends surrounding them are waiting to be discovered.

For example, on the Beyond Budapest walks that are 2-3 hour long exclusive walking tours, in the hidden downtown of Budapest: 8th and 5th districts, the old town of Pest. These 'socio-cultural' tours are sightseeing tours, which offer an exciting adventure for not only visitors from abroad. It shows the unknown face of Budapest, with which most of us probably almost never met.

They offer unusual ways to discover the city during which we can learn everything about the hidden corners, sights and residents of the city center. The walks put a strong emphasis on social issues, demonstrate the lifestyle of the capital minorities, and guide us to such exciting destinations as a downtown home synagogue, a gypsy musician family's apartment or the special downtown workshops.
