The best restaurants, widely recognised wineries and plenty of potato casserole – these will await visitors on the most prestigious Hungarian gastro event, Gourmet Festival at Millenáris Centre 30 May-1 June.

2013’s Gourmet Festival offered delicacies of 100 exhibitors for more than 12 000 visitors, this year, it seems both numbers are going to be higher. The best quality dishes of restaurants, wineries, bakeries, breweries will be showcased, for three days you’ll be able to experience all the finest pieces of Hungarian gastronomy in one place. On the festival organized annually, both the pearls of the countryside and the restaurants taking pride in employing Budapest’s star chefs present themselves. And this year, the range of exhibitors broadens even more. Besides the stars of domestic flavors, local representatives of international cuisines and quality street food vendors will also have the opportunity to impress visitors.
