This time, tour buses don’t stop and turn back from Vienna; fortunately, British X Factor finalist Rebecca Ferguson is going to perform in Budapest, in Club Akvárium on 9 July.

Rebecca Ferguson is a soul-R&B singer standing on the verge of becoming a world famous star which makes the concert even more of a must-see as it is a relatively rare occasion for a female singer of her status to perform in our capital city. She entered the British talent show in 2010 and, although she didn’t manage to win, she made it to the finals of the seventh season.

Her debut album Heaven co-written by her was released in 2011 peaking at number 3 in the United Kingdom. It was certified 2 times platinum in the UK and with the support of a good friend, the well-known singer Adele, it became successful in America as well. The second, latest studio album Freedom has been on the shelves of stores since December 2013 and has gotten positive reviews by critics, too.

The Hungarian audience might be familiar with her hit I Hope and another song, Glitter & Gold. 9 July in Club Akvárium at Erzsébet Square will hopefully be the last chance for fans in Budapest to see her performing in a smaller club since next time she’ll most certainly perform in an arena.
