Meet Hungarian traditions, gastronomy, music, interesting programs and of course the best wines this year in Buda Castle, at the 23rd Wine Festival from 10 to 14 September. You will see and feel that this event is about so much more than just good wines.
White, red or rosé, dry or sweet, you can choose your favourite from thousands of wine types. If you visit Budapest this September, you can also do it at the Wine Festival, which will be organized on the terraces of Buda Castle, from 10 to 14 September.
The main theme of the event this year is wine and healthy lifestyle, sports and other experiences we can enjoy together. There are several Hungarian winemakers, who play sports in their free time, so sports and healthy lifestyle became part of their everyday lives. At the festival, you can meet these winemakers, too.
The guest country of the 23rd Wine Festival will be Italy, so there will be several Italian wines to taste, too. If you like Brunello, Chianti, Asti, or some new wine types, you can taste these here. The representatives of gastronomy will also offer some Mediterranean goods, but if you arrive here to taste traditional Hungarian food, you will have the chance to do that, as well. After that, you can try different types of cheese, taste truffles or the supply of the well-known Hungarian Gerbeaud Confectionary.
The guests of the festival can enjoy not only gastronomic pleasures, but several other programs, too. There will be for example family programs, creative ideas for children and adults, wine auction for charity, and different concerts, folk music and folk dance programs. You can enjoy the colourful festival, and share your experiences with friends at once, owing to the free internet connection we all can use at the Wine Festival.
