In September, when the first colder, rainy days arrive, everybody is more likely to wish for some (more) chocolate. If you agree with this, and would like to add some precious and delicious sweets to your ‘collection’, then visit Budapest from 19 to 21 of September, when Sweet Days will be held in Buda Castle.

This event is much more than just another ‘choco festival’. We can say that this is the largest Hungarian event of the sweets industry. With its nearly one hundred thematic exhibitors and 30 thousand visitors, Sweet Days is Europe’s fifth largest chocolate and sweets festival at the moment.
You can find here the best-known artisan and chocolate manufactures, confectionaries and well-known world brands, but you taste the products of several new, or less known Hungarian chocolate manufactures, as well. If you like chocoMe, Bonbonier, Bonbonetti or Tibor Szánthó’s products, you can find their finest goods here, too.

In addition to the professional programs, there will be some workshops and courses, entertaining family programs, popular music bands and performers to ensure a whole day’s program on the festival. Besides the delicious sweets, you can taste dishes from renowned restaurants, noble wines and excellent drinks, as well.
You can even enjoy a fashion show, made in collaboration with the workers of Sofitel Hotel’s confectionary. Ten fashion designers were asked to design special dresses for this occasion, and the confectioners designed cakes matching these dresses. So for those who like fashion and cakes, the show will be quite appetizing in every sense of the word.
Enjoy being a chocoholic, or become one this September in Budapest.
