Can’t wait for spring to arrive? Well, we can give you a short list of really good programs you can participate at while waiting for the really good weather.
Carnival in Szentendre
Saying goodbye to winter and welcoming spring in Hungary usually means ‘farsang’ and carnival season. On the last weekend of February, you can enjoy the well-known Busó Carnival in Mohács or Szentendre Carnival. The latter will be organized between 24 and 26 February, with lots of interesting programs for all of us.

Try bath and spas – for half price!
We tried to write a short poem about the campaign called ‘Escape to a bath’ (‘Szökjön ki egy fürdőbe!’) but didn’t really succeed in it. Anyway, the most important thing is that you can really enter several baths and spas in Hungary on 28 February. Sounds good, doesn’t it?

Spring awakening with flowers
Buying a bouquet of flowers or some decoration (that can be made by you as well) makes you feel like the ‘real’ spring is already here. Maybe you feel like going somewhere where you can admire flowers and plants for a long time? Let us suggest you visiting Garden Expo, between 24 and 26 March – we hope that the weather will be more friendly by then.

Cheers to Spring
By participating at Budai Borkorzó, you can taste good wines, admire the beautiful city lights from one of the nicest mountain spots in Budapest and enjoy Hungarian literature and the world of the 1920s. On 3 and 4 March, they are waiting for you, as well. If you speak some Hungarian, register here: http://budastep.hu/tour/borkorzo/?gclid=CjwKEAiAz4XFBRCW87vj6-28uFMSJAAHeGZbtR60QqoZVSadY0Lk9chvGcWkijXKi5et-I8yBtFSlhoCU9Dw_wcB
If you are a fan of jogging or running, you must be waiting for the good weather when you don’t have to wear so many layers for running outdoors. Are we right? Well, on 1 and 2 April, we hope that we all can participate at Running Expo on Millenáris – hopefully in sunshine and really nice weather. ;)
Jason Mraz in Budapest
You can welcome spring with some really good music: Jason Mraz brings nice melodies, well-known folk-pop songs to his special, intimate solo performance to Budapest Congress Centre on 14 March. Love is in the air… what else do we need? Spring, of course – we hope that we don’t have to wait too long for it.
