Rock fanatics can’t wait Queen and Adam Lambert to start their tour – and luckily, this fall they will come to perform in Budapest, as well.
Weeks after announcing their 26-date summer tour in North America, Queen and Adam Lambert have surprised fans of rock music with another tour: they will come to Europe, too, this Fall. And we are happy to announce that their 25-date European tour also promises a show in Budapest: they will play in Budapest Sportarena on 4 November.
The band says that they will unveil a brand new show with spectacular new stage production and a setlist that will provide some surprises. We are sure that Queen and Adam Lambert’s upcoming tour will be also celebrate this year's 40th anniversary of Queen's biggest selling studio album to date, ‘News Of The World’ from 1977, which contains legendary rock songs like for example ‘We Will Rock You’ and ‘We Are The Champions’.
Queen drummer and co-founder Roger Taylor said about the 2017 tour that it will be entirely different from the shows they used to play and that technology has improved a lot. “But we don't use it all. We don't play to click track. It's 100% live. We're planning on doing stuff we either haven't done before or haven't done for a long time” – he said.
Guitarist Brian May has confirmed the 2017 shows will provide some surprises. “The general public knows the hits, so you've got to cater for that, but we can chuck in a few things that people really don't expect. We'll do quite a bit more of that this time around.
Vocalist Adam Lambert, who finished second in the talent show American Idol in 2009 and has been working with Queen since 2011, giving over 100 concerts since then, is quite excited about the surprises of the upcoming North American and European tour. “We will probably be pulling some other songs out of the Queen catalogue which we haven’t done before, which I am very excited about.”
