Foo fighters, Green day and ABBA Symphony is coming!
Although we have to wait another 3 month until Sziget Festival, but one thing is sure: we won’t get bored in the coming period either. Foo fighter, Green day and ABBA symphony is coming to Budapest!
ABBA Symphony – 04 June
ABBA is way more than a band – it’s a lifestyle. In June this year Budafoki Dohnányi Orchestra present its own ABBA show: more than thirty hits from one of the best-known bands of all time, including Waterloo, Mamma Mia, S.O.S., Money, money, money, and Dancing Queen in a new symphonic instrumentation that will be made even more spectacular with a special visual world. The symphony summarizes ABBA's life in four sections: "Beginnings", "Love and Break-up", "Scherzo" and "ABBA Forever". The biggest Hungarian names participate in the show: Soloists of the Street Singers, the Coincidance Dance Ensemble, the Budapest Academy of Choir and of course the Budafoki Dohnányi Orchestra.
Green day - 18 June

But don’t worry, Billy Joe and his fellows bring not only the newest hits, but also our huge favorites. Wikipedia says "American Idiot", "Jesus of Suburbia" and "Boulevard of Broken Dreams" are all on the tracklist! The tour is set to have 111 dates in North America, Europe, Australia, and New Zealand from September 2016 through September 2017.
Foo fighters – 26 June
The last big American stadiumrock band will return to Budapest after 20 years! Foo Fighters are gearing up for a big 2017. They’ve announced a couple of shows in Europe for the summer, and what is more important: Budapest is on the list. They had 8 studio albums in the past 23 years and four of the albums have won Grammy Awards for Best Rock Album. They have sold more than 30 million albums until 2015 and we’re pretty sure everyone knows at least one song of the band, for example this one:
