Juice or smoothie? Try both in The Juice Shop

Healthy, delicious, rich in nutrients. This is the slogan of the newest juice bar in Budapest, where fresh juices and smoothies are available for a fix price. We had to test, or let’s say taste these drinks, and what we got was amazing.

If you visit Budapest, and would like to taste something really healthy and fresh, then connect sightseeing with a nice juice or smoothie. You can get these freshly made of fruits and vegetables in The Juice Bar, in Pannónia Street. The friendly juice bar is the newest one in the city, and you can reach it easily by public transport, or by a little walk owing to its favourable location in the 13th district.

The Juice Bar is opened under the direction of Mia and Shaun Conyers, who wanted to create a place not only for nice juices, smoothies and pleasant chats with friends and family, but also a place where our health gets to the centre of attention. So they created their fix priced drinks – juices for 990 forints, smoothies for 1190 forints – with the assistance of a dietician, Adrienn Konyári, who will later also help guests in cleanse programs and by replying their questions in the forum of The Juice Shop’s website.

The juice bar opened its doors for the first guests on 8 December, but they already have returning costumers and favourite drinks from their drink card. Among the juices, the most popular ones are ‘A drop of spring’, ‘Triple A’, ‘Sweet Broccoli’ and ‘Ananapolis’, while among the smoothies, costumers like ‘Superpower’, ‘V like Vanilla’ and ‘Flax Dream’ the most. We tasted ‘Superpower’ smoothie with banana, orange juice, frozen strawberries and ginger. It was made right in front of us from fresh fruits. It tasted really good, and after drinking it, we didn’t feel hungry for hours. Drinks are available with super-foods like chia seeds or chlorella.

The place is really nice, friendly, ideal for chatting with friends or just grabbing a drink in our daily rush. Drinks are made at the counter by Mia, who can give good advices if you feel that you can’t choose from the rich and colourful drink menu.

The Juice Shop offers already several drinks, but they plan to add even more to their drink card. They have other big plans for the future, as well, for example they will have outdoor tables and chairs for the spring, and bike parking, too. Bikers will get 5 percent off the prices.

In The Juice Shop, English and German are well spoken, and if you arrive with dogs and other pets, they are welcome, as well.
