Discover a little bit of Spain in the downtown of Budapest – Vicky Barcelona is really worth visiting.

Appetizing Spanish food, great wines, friendly service and extraordinary interior – Vicky Barcelona tapas bar has opened its gates in Gozsdu Court, and we have some more reasons why you should visit this spot.

1. You can find Vicky Barcelona at the Dob Street entrance of Gozsdu Court which is the less busy side of the place. This can be an advantage if you prefer a more silent dinner with your sweetheart to a big, noisy, crowded program.

2. The new tapas bar is beautiful, with a special, inviting interior. The owners wanted something really extraordinary and different from all the works of trendy interior designers that you can see nowadays everywhere in the city. So they asked someone else to dream a special, Spanish atmosphere. They did a great job: Vicky Barcelona became really unique and inviting.

3. Eating tapas is about enjoying many different flavors within a single meal, together with your family or friends – partly gastronomic pleasure, partly social activity, partly a way to have a good time with your loved ones. Mediterranean snacks are not only delicious, but a lot lighter than Hungarian alternatives, for example sausages, ham, cheese and vegetables served on a wooden platter. In Vicky Barcelona, you can enjoy great tapas, which goes well with wines, cocktails and wine cocktails like Sangria. The last one is our tip to try but you can ask the waiter, as well – they can suggest you wines to accompany the dinner, as well.

4. Everything in this tapas bar feels like foreign, in the best sense of the word. And they give us the impression of a dinner in Madrid or Barcelona, only a few minutes’ walk from Deák Square or Astoria. Their cooks are from Spain and many of the bartenders come from Spanish-speaking countries, or can speak Spanish. The ingredients used in the kitchen (including seafood) come from the Iberian region.

5. If you like Latin melodies, you will be happy to hear that DJs and live Spanish music will soon make the Spanish atmosphere of Vicky Barcelona complete.
