Destination: Venice - Luxury train departs from Budapest

Travelling can be comfortable, adventurous and fun – on the board of this luxury train it definitely is, we can assure you.

A beautiful luxury train with 12 wagons left Budapest on the first weekend of May to take passengers for a nine-day-long vacation to Venice and back, with a little trip to some of the cities in the Balkan Peninsula.

The train – which departed from Nyugati Raiway station, taking passengers to their luxury vacations in the organization of Golden Eagle Danube Express and MÁV Nosztalgia – is really extraordinary.

The wagons are far from those “Balkan” ones you could see or hear about some years ago, because these are new, clean, comfortable, with luxury cabins having their own toilets. In these cabins, you can really enjoy every second of the journey.

The train’s destination was Venice, and it returns to Budapest by passing over the following cities in the Balkan Peninsula and Hungary: Zagreb-Sarajevo-Mostar-Belgrade-Sofia-Plovdiv, Veliko Tarnovo, Brasov, Sighisoara, Lajosmizse and Kecskemét.

Take a look at the long train in the following video:
