Siófok
If you have ever been to Lake Balaton, you must have visited Siófok, because it is one of the most popular places (or the most popular one) at the lake. You can arrive here with family or friends, for a day or two weeks, you will find what you are looking for. This is true for the beach called Aranypart (Golden beach), as well: you will find here several possibilities to have fun and spend your holidays just like you want to. Besides swimming, trying water sports or lying on a sunbed, you can go to parties and restaurants, too. If you are looking for a place where you’ll find a great night life, then Siófok is the ideal town to choose.

Keszthely
Keszthely is a romantic small town at Lake Balaton, which is really worth an excursion. But in these dog days, almost everybody would change the sightseeing for a visit to Keszthely City Beach to enjoy the cool water or a nap under the trees, on the green lawn. We like that you don’t have to arrive early in the morning to assure a great place for your blanket, because it is really spacious there.
Balatonlelle
Napfény Beach in Balatonlelle is one of the finest sandy beaches at Lake Balaton. The entire length of the beach is covered with sand, which immediately assures you about the truth of the saying that Balaton is the Hungarian sea. Give it a try this summer, you won’t regret it.

Vonyarcvashegy
Are you a fan of sports, and would you like to spend an active holiday at Lake Balaton? Then choose for example the beach of Vonyarcvashegy – not easy to pronounce and to memorize, but impossible to forget. Here you can enjoy the advantages of a fitness park and several sport grounds. Furthermore, you can even try some extreme sports, for example water skiing or surfing. After all this, you can chill out at the beach or on the water – try fishing or hire a pedalo.
Alsóörs
If you arrive with your partner and kids to the Lake Balaton, choose Alsóörs and the so-called Mediterranean bay for kids here. This beach is a real paradise for families, because you can find possibilities for entertainment for smaller and bigger kids, in the water and at the beach, too.
