Budapest has been chosen as the filming location for several movies and adverts, and not long ago, the British multinational retailer Debenhams decided to film their Christmas advert here in our capital city, as well. In the ad, you can see a beautiful but clumsy girl who loses her shoe on the train and a guy who tries everything to reunite her with her lost shoe with the help of social media sites, hashtags and – wait for it – Evan McGregor.

The modern Cinderella story – the next Debenhams ad shot in our capital city after 2013 – divides the folks of the internet. Some people say that it is way too cheesy and uninspiring, while others think that it is wonderful and will get you in Christmas mood in a minute.
