IKEA to resell ‘old’ furniture in Hungary, as well

‘IKEA Second Chance’ program to start in Hungary, as well, later this year.

If you have some no-longer-used IKEA furniture and you would like to change it for something else, you can try in different Facebook groups (made directly for shopping and selling old furniture).

But what if you could transport it back to IKEA and they’d also give you some money back for it on a gift card? Well, this is more than just a dream. It is a solution already working in Slovakia an in the Czech Republic and later this year, this program will also start in Hungary, Napi.hu writes. The exact date is not announced yet, they will only let us know it when the program is officially established.

IKEA was also asked whether they would open a smaller IKEA store in the city centre of Budapest, similar to the one they already have in Prague, but the company said it’s not in the cards yet. Now they would like to focus on their three available stores in the country and to improve their online services.
