Don’t miss these exhibitions this year.

Museum of Fine Arts and National Gallery are to show artworks of Michelangelo, Van Dyck and the Flemish Baroque masters, works of Magritte and Dalí and other gems of art in their 2019 exhibition schedule, the museums’ director general László Baan said at the end of January on a press conference.

The Museum of Fine Arts will present an exhibition of Michelangelo’s drawings from 5 April to 30 June. From 27 June to 20 October, a large surrealist exhibition will attract art lovers to the National Gallery. ‘The Surrealist Movement from Magritte to Dalí – Crisis and Rebirth in 1929’ will focus on the works of the leading artists like Magritte, Miro, Dalí and Picasso.

And last but not least, thirty masterpieces by Rubens and ten by Van Dyck will be included in the Flemish Baroque exhibition, which will be on view from 24 October until 16 February 2020 in the Museum of Fine Arts.
