Hungary’s first car safari park opened near Budapest

Adventure awaits – from now on, you can experience the atmosphere of an exotic car safari in Hungary, as well. Let us tell you a little bit more about that.

Budapest has a zoo and of course a well-known circus but now we have an even more exciting, new program tip for you: Hungary’s first car safari park opened its gates in Szada (approximately 30 kilometres from Budapest).

The park covers 5 hectares and almost hundred different animals (some of them owned by the Hungarian National Circus, others by the Florian Richter Circus) can be seen there, for example exotic animals like elephants, camels, giraffes but also donkeys and the so-called zebrams which are the mix of zebras and donkeys.

The visit in the park is totally safe because only cars with non-open tops can drive in, and everyone can only drive on the marked path.

The park is open from 12 pm to 5 pm on weekdays, but on weekends and holidays, it can be visited from 10 am to 5 pm. Before the trip, you will need a short registration for one of the available dates: . We checked on 21 May and the next date available for reservation was 3 June, but for later next month, they have plenty of free dates.

About the ticket prices, we found the following information: entry is for free for kids under 2. Between the age of 2 and 14, the entrance fee is 1500 HUF, and for adults, it is 2000 HUF.

If you decide to book an available date and visit the park, you will also help the Hungarian National Circus, because they were left without income after the outbreak of the epidemic.
