When we were kids, we tore the most beautiful photos from magazines and glued them into scrapbooks, or fixed a montage of these pics to our wall. Nowadays, we don’t need glue to do that, just internet connection, username and password (or Facebook account) to Pinterest, where we can pin our favourite photos, for example from travel destinations we love. The medium has changed, but the feeling is the same, we all love beautiful pictures.

Lately, there was a list with amazing photos shared by Mashable.com about the most pinned travel locations on Pinterest. On the top of the list, we can find Paris, The Eiffel Tower, London and New York City, but there is a nice surprise for those who love Budapest, too: the Hungarian capital is 23^rd on the list.

Budapest preceded several popular travel locations, for example Istanbul, Santorini or Florence, Italy in Europe. There is only one Central European city in the top 30: Prague, on the 15^th place of the list. The top 30 list of the most popular places is based on more than 750 million place pins – impressive amount of pics and pins!
