Their rosé and one of their red wines were recently acknowledged.

Dúzsi winery from Hungary received 34 medals at the world’s biggest rosé competition in Cannes, France, so they are the leaders of the contest, writes. They add that one of the winery’s products, the ‘kékfrankos’ was chosen as the best one from sixteen different wines in a competition in France.

And this is not all: one of their red wines won the grand prize at the biggest wine competition in the world. Although there have been some fantastic results achieved by Hungarian winemakers, this is the biggest success so far in a renowned competition like that.

The winemaker, Tamás Dúzsi and his family started to deal with wine more than 20 years ago and they became very successful in a couple of years – now it is not an exaggeration to say that they are a world-famous winery.

What is their secret? “You have to make good wine, you have to aim for premium quality, and it is not enough to achieve it once, you have to make the best wines you can, all the time” – said Tamás Dúzsi Jr.
