Kornél Mundruczó's name is probably familiar with many of you. He’s one of the most famous contemporary Hungarian directors, and his new film, Pieces of a Woman has been chosen to the competition program of this year's 77th Venice International Film Festival. Kornél Mundruczó, who is world-renowned for his film and theater work, has his seventh feature film with Pieces of a Woman, that tells the story of the consequences of a tragic home birth in Boston. The screenplay is the work of Kata Wéber, based on her own multi-award winning play. The music was composed by the world-renowned Oscar-winning composer, Howard Shore. The protagonists of the film are Vanessa Kirby and Shia LeBeouf, but Oscar-winning Ellen Burstyn, Molly Parker, Iliza Schleizinger, Benny Safdie and Sarah Snook also have their roles.
