A new tram service has started in Budapest!

Tram line 2B has started, which provides a direct connection between Pesterzsébet, Pacsirtatelep and downtown Pest, the mayor of Budapest announced on her social media page.
The BKK announced on its website that from this weekend Pesterzsébet can be reaced directly from Pesterzsébet without having to transfer: the 2B tram line will start on Saturday, August 13.
Starting as part of the development of the interwoven tram network in Pest, the new tram connection between Pesterzsébet, Pacsirtatelep and Jászai Mari tér, making it accessible without a transfer to Budapest XX. from the district, tram 4 and 6 at Boráros tér, M4 at Fővám tér, M1 at Vígadó tér ,and M2 at Kossuth Lajos tér.
