Neopaint, a small creative team brings the barren firewalls of the capital to life. The result is breathtaking!

Streetart conquests in more and more versions. Just think about the ad hoc organized dance flash mobs, the street painters who are popular for many years, and I’m sure that everyone has already seen metal-colored human statues that come to life for some coin.

Now we present a version of this streetart: the more and more popular way how young artists revamp the city's old firewalls. After the colorful city festival (which we also reported here), now we introduce the Neopaint team, all the more so because downtown of Budapest is filled with their works.

The team (who were originally working on order) has renewed thousands of square feet of wall surfaces since the inception of the creative workshop, over nearly ten years. Neopaint implements interior and exterior wall decorations adapted to the customers' ideas: private interiors, clubs, fire walls, sceneries, catering establishments, shops and public institutions have been renewed by their unique plans. The company is working with well-known wallpainter artists who combine masterly the different painting techniques and capable of fulfill the most extreme style wishes.

And all this is interesting for the following: lately they also use this creative ingenuity in favor of the common. This group of artists decorates - in addition to individual orders - huge wall surfaces in the central but abandoned areas of the city, under the auspices of the so called "TűzfalRehab" (“firewall rehab”) action plan since 2010.

The “contemporary art in public places” project is designed to remedy the greyness of the huge downtown firewalls with the tools of urban arts, and turn back these renewed surfaces to Budapest's bloodstream. But how could they realize these gigantic paintings? Look:

Their work is significant because during the past four years, the Neopaint Works greatly contributed to make the city more colorful and livable with its imaginative creativity. Thanks to the artistic team some lucky districts of the capital has got new, more cheerful image. Their most well-known projects are the „Actors of the nation” portrait series and Budapest Anno mural made on the Városháza Square. If you want to see these gigantic works in the reality, Panoramio show you the exact habitats.
