The Nutcracker, as you haven’t seen yet

Cirque de Monte Carlo and Edvin Marton present the classic ballet in a new form - enjoy their unique show on 19 and 20 December in Papp Laszlo Budapest Sportarena.

Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky’s classic ballet, The Nutcracker will be presented this year before Christmas, on 19 and 20 December in Papp Laszlo Budapest Sportarena by the violinist Edvin Marton and Cirque de Monte Carlo.

How can a violinist and a circus troupe make a show, a really good show together? I think it is only possible if they respect and understand each other’s way of artistic expression and of course the original ballet they are working on together. It is surely a lot of work but I think these artists will give their best to entertain their audience and to make the original ballet even more interesting and colourful.

In my opinion, it won’t be a Christmas tale but a magical Christmas show to enchant all of us and to make us feel the spirit of Christmas in the modern world, thanks to a modern interpretation of a real classic.
