The biggest festival of Hungarian dance world, Budapest Dance Festival will be organized again this year. Between 20 February and 1 March, the most prominent Hungarian and foreign companies will come on stage at the Palace of Arts and at Pesti Vigadó. This year’s biggest star is the Alonzo King LINES Ballet, which is an American contemporary ballet company based in the San Francisco Bay Area. The troupe was founded in 1982 by choreographer Alonzo King. They have several international tours that include featured performances at venues such as Venice Biennale, Théâtre National de Chaillot in Paris, and The Kwai Tsing Theatre in Hong Kong.
