We have an exciting year!

There are great concerts in Budapest, not just during the Sziget Festival. Here's what you can expect this year:

Carlos Santana Miraculous 2020 World Tour

19 MARCH 2020

The iconic guitarist is celebrating the 20th anniversary of Supernatural and the 50th anniversary of Abraxas with a mesmerizing world tour. Ten time GRAMMY®-Award, three time Latin GRAMMY®-Award winning rock icon and Rock and Roll Hall of Fame guitarist Carlos Santana will stop here in Budapest for our biggest pleasure! Santana and his band will perform passion-filled songs from their fifty year career, including fan favorites from Woodstock to Supernatural and beyond. The tour will commemorate two very important milestones in the iconic guitarist’s career.

James Blunt European tour

Following the news that his sixth studio album, ‘Once Upon A Mind’, has been released in October 25th, James Blunt announced a major 2020 UK and European tour. James kicks off the tour February 14th in Birmingham and finishes at London’s Royal Albert Hall playing shows across Europe throughout the run.

Harry Styles Love on tour

Harry Styles has announced a 2020 world tour, Love On Tour, in support of his upcoming album Fine Line. The extensive run of shows will begin in April in the UK and will travel across Europe and North America before concluding in Mexico in October. Harry Styles music career began in boy band One Direction. They earned four number-one studio albums, embarked on four sold-out world tours, won nearly 200 awards and has sold more than 50 million records worldwide. Harry's first own, self-titled debut album was released in 2017 and topped the charts of fourteen countries.

Celine Dion Courage world tour

The Courage World Tour is the fourteenth concert tour by Canadian singer Celine Dion, in support of her English-language studio album, Courage (2019). It is Dion's first world tour in over a decade, since her Taking Chances World Tour. She has won five Grammy Awards, including Album of the Year and Record of the Year, and Billboard named her the "Queen of Adult Contemporary for good reason.

Korn

KORN basically changed the world with the release of their self-titled debut album. It was a record that would pioneer a genre, while the band’s enduring success points to a larger cultural moment. The FADER notes, “There was an unexpected opening in the pop landscape and KORN articulated a generational coming-of-angst for a claustrophobic, self-surveilled consciousness. KORN became the soundtrack for a generation’s arrival as a snarling, thrashing, systemically-restrained freak show.” Since forming, KORN has sold 40 million albums worldwide, collected two GRAMMYS, toured the world countless times, and set many records in the process that will likely never be surpassed.

Sooter – God save the rave tour

German techno heroes, Scooter, are bringing their unmistakable brand of hard dance to Budapest with their God Save The Rave tour. The band has sold over 30 million records and earned over 80 Gold and Platinum awards. Scooter is considered the most commercially successful German single-record act with 23 top ten hits.

System Of A Down

Formed in 1994, and with just 5 studio albums, the American/Armenian band have amassed themselves a fervent, worldwide following- never failing to put on a mind-blowing performance. The band has achieved huge commercial success with the release of their albums, three of which debuted at number one (#1) on the US Billboard album chart. System Of A Down has been nominated for 4 Grammy Awards, and their song B.Y.O.B. won a Grammy Award for Best Hard Rock performance in 2006.

Judas Priest

There are few heavy metal bands that have managed to scale the heights that Judas Priest have during their 50-year career. Their presence and influence remains at an all-time high as evidenced by 2018's Firepower being the highest-charting album of their career, a 2010 Grammy Award win for Best Metal Performance, plus being a 2006 VH1 Rock Honors recipient and a 2017 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame nomination.

KISS - END OF THE ROAD World Tour

Explosions, riffs and flying superheroes: KISS draw all the stops on the END OF THE ROAD World Tour and celebrate a decibel-packed spectacle with massive production and legendary songs. On this world tour the iconic band says goodbye to their fans after four and a half decades of superlatives. As the quartet announced exclusively at the KISS Kruise, the multi-year tour in summer 2020 is once again rolling through Europe, including Budapest!

Thomas Anders from Modern talking

After the huge success of the pre-sold-out concert in 2018, Thomas Anders comes to Hungary again in 2020! Thanks to Total Dance Festival and 80's Disco, the '80s world hits will come back with Modern Talking frontman, this time in an even more spectacular 90-minute unique live show.

Alanis Morisette

12 OCTOBER 2020

Seven-time GRAMMY Award-winner and multi-platinum singer-songwriter Alanis Morissette also announced her much anticipated European Leg of her 2020 World Tour celebrating 25 years of Jagged Little Pill and her upcoming album Such Pretty Forks In The Road. The run will see Alanis perform in 13 cities across Europe, kicking off in Copenhagen on 23rd September and concluding at Paris’ AccorHotels Arena on 22nd October.

Simply Red

23 NOVEMBER 2020

Following the announcement that their funky new album, ‘Blue Eyed Soul’, that was released on November 8th, Simply Red revealed the details of a highly anticipated 33-date UK, Ireland and European 2020 arena tour. Hailed as one of the most successful live acts ever to come out of the UK, they will be firing on all cylinders delivering their all-time classic hits from a stellar career, such as ‘Stars’, ‘Holding Back The Years’, ‘Fairground’ and ‘Money’s Too Tight To Mention’, as well as some raw and soulful new grooves.

NIGHTWISH

07 DECEMBER 2020

The Finnish symphonic metal band also comes to Hungary this year. Their unique brand of Gothic yet melodic metal has helped the group become Finland's most successful band abroad (and the third most in the country itself!), having sold over eight million records worldwide and acquiring over 60 gold and platinum certifications on the way.
