You can even get to the Olympics if you come and test your knowledge.
After FINA world cup, another huge sport event is coming to Budapest in August: Festival International des Sports Extrêmes, a.k.a FISE. FISE, it is more than just an event: it’s over 25 competitions that bring together the most popular action sports: skateboard, BMX, mountain bike, wakeboard, inline skate, etc., so Hungarian BMX riders will have big day this week.
The Hungarian Cycling Federation encourages all Hungarian BMX athletes to take advantage of the the opportunity and apply for amateur, junior, female or even professional categories because FISE is a great event to show their skills to the international jury. Moreover, BMX freestyle is becoming more and more recognized worldwide, and in 2020 it will be official discipline in the Tokyo Olympics! So if you make it and the jury discovers you, you can even be an Olympic athlete. Sounds great, right?
The FISE Budapest will be held August 18-20 at Kopaszi Dam, with competitors from 55 country and hundreds of thousands of spectators. And of course, you won’t get bored as viewer: we are expecting breathtaking productions. Check out the exact program here.
