Even those people will love this place who has no problem with any of the ingredients.

Although the number of vegetarian / vegan places in Budapest has risen sharply in recent years, gluten-sensitive people are still not in an easy position. There are plenty of good restaurants, but they usually don't think about lactose and gluten-sensitive people, so it's understandable, that the opening of a place exactly for them is a big deal. The concept of Kata restaurant has grown out of this thought so the owners made it's menu directly for dairy and lactose intolerant people.

This lactose and gluten-free restaurants in the neighborhood of Opera awaits with breakfast menu and weekly lunch menu, and many delicious courses, of course without lactose or gluten. They have seasonal fruit soup with roasted almond, traditional gray cattle goulash soup and

guinea fowl consomme with ginger to start with. As main course you can taste grilled salmon fillet in Dijon crust, vegetarian burger, of course in gluten free bun, smoked salmon slices with spicy cheese cream on a salad bed with green lemon, or tenderloin matured for three months with goose liver, green peas and rosemary potatoes – just to mention a few of them. As dessert, we can chose the classic somlói dumplings or chocolate fondant with vanilla and roasted pecans.

Must try place, even if you're lucky enough and don't have problem with milk and traditional flour.
