One of the best Hungarian confectioneries to open in Budapest
Posted by Mia Balogh · May 20, 2020

Mónisüti has already conquered the Balaton region, now their desserts are available also in Budapest and they are looking for a permanent location in the capital.

If you are a fan of Hungarian desserts and know a few of the top confectioneries in the country already, you might have heard about Mónisüti. It’s true that they are working in the Balaton region, but their sweet treats are very well-known and they are among the top 10 Hungarian patisseries according to Dining Guide.

Furthermore, Mónisüti is a success story (without exaggeration), because the founder, Mónika Kalmár Kövérné managed to build a successful and popular enterprise from her love and blogging about baking.

At first, she baked for a confectionery in Keszthely but now, after conquering the Balaton region and Transdanubia, their cakes are even available in Budapest: you can order from a list on their Facebook page ( https://www.facebook.com/monihazhozsuti/ ) by Wednesday of each week and your order can be picked up at Babka at the end of the week. Larger orders can even be delivered to your home in the capital.

Some more good news: they are already looking for a permanent location in Budapest – we hope we’ll know more about it soon and we can inform you about that. We can’t wait for their delicious deserts. Yum! ;)
