Our capital city is adored by so many people from different age groups, and now a research shows us how much the members of the Y-generation love it.
A research made by Nestpick (well-known site helping people find the perfect apartment by comparing thousands of offers) shows us some interesting results. They compared 110 cities, more exactly, how these cities fit the needs of digital-native millennials and they found out that youngsters consider housing and human rights the most influential factors when choosing the right city. Nightlife and partying are secondary to them.
In the study, millennials could rate how affordable life is in the examined cities or how tolerant and open-minded locals are there, but housing, transport and healthcare opportunities, university life, speed of the Internet, the price of festivals and beer were also evaluated. All aspects examined were graded on a 10-point scale.
Budapest came 37th on the list of 110 cities, which is quite cool in our opinion, considering also that in the region, only Prague and Vienna got better results. The best cities in the world for to millennials according to this survey are Berlin, Montreal and London, Amsterdam and Toronto.
