Winter is coming: Christmas fair at Vörösmarty Square opened its doors
Posted by Budnews · Nov 13, 2017

The most anticipated period of the year has come.

Christmas fair at Vörösmarty Square is the Hungarian version of the classic Christmas fairs. Festive atmosphere, huge Christmas tree, souvenir booths…If you have ever seen such a thing, you can imagine. Our Christmas market is a 1,200-square-meter market, with lots of lovely wooden huts, various products and nearly 160 family-friendly programs. Families can prepare for advent season together: there is a handicraft playhouse for children where kids can learn candle casting, gingerbread baking, felting or basketry techniques while parents do the shopping.

We highly recommend to visit the fair before the huge attack in December, because you can buy all Christmas gifts before anyone else. And if you get tired by doing so, take a break and taste the traditional chimney cake, the mulled wine, roasted chestnut, strudels, beigli and gingerbread. Or just walk a little bit and feel the Christmas in November… We will be there! The fair is open until 31 December.
