Budapest city centre’s coolest pop-up park is here again

Sit around with your friends, charge your phones or try the sport facilities out there – all of it is waiting for you until the end of this summer.

Have you seen the pop-up park near Deák Ferenc Square last summer? Well, it has opened again and we think it’s even cooler than it was last year.

Situated behind the well-known meeting point, the church on Deák Square, the pop-up park is like a festival venue, with free mobile phone charging docks (the energy for charging phones and iPads is produced by special walkable solar panels – yes, such things are real already), stylish benches and sports facilities (teqball, table tennis, street work-out equipment, chess tables).

After last year’s positive vibes, the team responsible for the project is Hello Wood again, but for this year, they changed the park’s plans a little bit – there are even more shady spots and seats.
