Nature Photographer of the Year award won by a Hungarian man

Csaba Daróczi’s snap won also the black and white category.

From 73 countries’ 14,000 entrants, a Hungarian photographer, Csaba Daróczi won the ‘Nature Photographer of the Year’ award at Nature Talks’ annual photo contest. Daróczi took a snap of a pair of leaping rabbits, which was chosen as top nature photo of 2019.

The Hungarian photographer took the winning photo at dawn near the Hungarian village of Bocsa – New York Post writes, by adding that he got a prize of $3,300.

Daróczi also won the first price in the black and white category so he can be named the most successful Hungarian in the contest this year.

Other Hungarian photographers were awarded, too: Norbert Kaszás won the Other Animals category with his snap ‘Golden rain’ and Bence Máté was highly commended for his photo ‘Wings’ in Nature Art category.
