Liszt Ferenc International Airport wins award for the best airport in Eastern Europe in the seventh consecutive year.

Liszt Ferenc International Airport is not only the aerial gateway to Hungary but also a multi-award-winning airport: we read recently that it has won the award for the best airport in Eastern Europe for the seventh time is a row.

The annual Skytrax award, which is handed out at the World Airport Awards, is one of the most important awards in the industry – partly because the travellers themselves decide about it, based on tens of thousands of rankings received from passengers from all around the world.

This year, due to the coronavirus pandemic, the award was handed over in a virtual form to Liszt Ferenc International Airport, which celebrates its 70th birthday this year.
