The fireworks on August 20 will be cancelled!

Due to unfarvolabre weather conditions, the fireworks will not be held!

Originally, this year's August 20 festive fireworks in Budapest were to be held on Saturday from 9 p.m. After the recently concluded meeting, the competent body decided to postpone the closing event.

THE FIREWORKS ARE PLANNED TO BE POSTPONED TO SATURDAY, AUGUST 27 FROM 9PM.

The operative group responsible for the safe conduct of the national holiday on August 20 met as early as 7 a.m. The meeting was convened to discuss the development of the weather situation and, if necessary, to decide on the necessary steps to safely hold outdoor events.

It was already decided that the air parade planned for Saturday at 9 p.m. will not be held based on the recommendation of the experts of the Hungarian Defense Forces. The celebratory fireworks were originally supposed to start at 9 p.m., but after the meeting that ended recetly, the compotent board decided not to organize the closing event.
