Jewish Cultural Festival - September 3-14

The Jewish Cultural Festival replaced the Jewish Summer Festival but preserved its high quality: promises meaningful and interesting programs. Of course, you don’t have to be Jewish to go to the festival, because the exciting and divers programs are perfect for anybody. The 20th Jewish Cultural Festival is open for audiences in seven Budapest locations with modern and classical concerts, theatrical plays and literature programs from 3 to 14 September.

26th Budapest Wine Festival - September 7-10

Every September tens of thousands of people visit Buda castle to celebrate wine at Hungary's greatest wine festival. Hundreds of exhibitors present their wines from all around Hungary and even from a few foreign countries. Even if you are not a wine expert, the ambience and the festival programs will guarantee an unforgettable time spent here. This year the program of the festival will be as colorful as never before in the history of the festival: concerts, wine university, harvest parade, wine quiz bar, taste of Hungary, charity aution… and of course, the best wines of the country.

Theaters’ Night – September 16

Here comes the night of theaters again! 35 theaters await with unusual programs, passionately showing their lives to the audience: the backstage, plays, and the secrets. Did you know that puppets are always people? That there is a theater where the secret column is impossible to get around? Or would you like to act yourself? Now you can. A night when you don’t have to wait until 7 PM to roll the curtain up, one night when there are no spectators, only participants, one night when the play is not on stage, but in the backstage, a night that depends only on you. Come and walk or ride the bike on the car-free day between the theaters, put together the theatrical puzzle of Budapest and greet the next season. With a single wrist band, you can participate all programs of all theaters, so no objections!
