If you are a fan of macarons, we are sure that you already know: 20 March is the day when fans of this yummy pastry unite for a celebration, all around the world. Macaron Day, we love you!

Taste, smell and purchase macarons on the fifth Macaron Day, on 20 March in Budapest. The event will be organized in Akvárium Klub where you can pamper your taste buds and even learn how to bake macarons.

You can choose from hundreds of macarons made by the top Hungarian confectioneries specializing in macarons, and if you fell in love with these sweet and yummy little pastries, you can even buy some macaron making kit, and other kitchenware. Kids will not be bored because the Macaron Day usually has special children programs, as well.

If this is the first time you will taste a macaron, than we can only say that the timing is perfect! Do you follow a special diet, or have to take care of the lactose – or sugar-intake? Well, in the offer of Macaron Day, you can also find vegan macarons.

About Macaron Day

The annual Macaron Day in Budapest is inspired by the ‘Jour du Macaron’, held on the same day in Paris and by the Macaron Day in New York City. It's dedicated to the famous French macaron, a round crunchy pastry sandwiched together with a soft creamy centre. There are so many varieties of colours and flavours that one day is not enough to try all!

Like and share, if you love macarons. ;)
