Miniversum – magical mini land in Budapest
Posted by Mia Balogh · Jun 26, 2014

If you would like to see a magical mini land, cities, cars, thousands of trees and miniature figures, in a size 100 times smaller than in the real world, then visit Budapest’s new tourist attraction, Miniversum.

Miniversum, opened in May 2014 in Budapest, offers a nice program, unique experience and fun for children and adults. It is a gigantic, beautifully detailed and decorated model layout, featuring many sights and landmarks from Budapest and Hungary, and a bit of Austria and Germany, too.

Budapest’s new tourist attraction is located in the city center, in the 6th district, 12 Andrássy Road. You can see here 14 cities and towns, 600 buildings, 1000 motor cars, 100 trains in motion, 5000 trees and 5000 miniature figures. All these things are located on 300 square metres, and everything is 100 times smaller, than in the real world.

Miniversum can be visited every day from 9AM to 7PM. On Friday and Saturday, they have extended opening hours, from 9AM to 9PM. There are different categories in ticket prices: for adults, the full admission costs 1900 HUF (6€), for children between 3-14 years, it is available for 1300 HUF (4€). You can buy family ticket, as well, which makes possible the entrance for 2 adults and at most 3 children for 4900 HUF (16€). Entrance is for free for children under 3 years.

The interactive exhibition has a café, a shop and a playhouse, so the visit won’t be boring, even if you come with children. You can find more useful information or even book your visit in advance on
