The world-famous cellist duo conquers Hungary.
Those who know the 2cellos duo already know that classical music and classical instruments are not one of boredom. The others urgently have to look at the videos below and forget this misconception. If you’re done with this, and fall in love with 2Cellos as much as we did, than come to the Papp László Budapest Sports Arena on 10 October, where this two musicians impress the Hungarian audience on their first solo concert in Hungary.
About the guys:
The two outstanding young musicians have already achieved tremendous success worldwide by raising cello to a new level. Their playing style blurs the boundaries of the various musical trends from classical music to soundtracks, through pop and rock: their presentation of Bach and Vivaldi’s works are such as impressive as an AC/DC hit.
Luka Sulic and Stjepan Hauser, the two Croatian cellists became famous and burst into the public consciousness in 2011 with revising the song "Smooth Criminal" by Michael Jackson. The result of the Youtube video spread like wildfire was a record contract and Sir Elton John invited them on a tour around the world.

Despite their dazzling new videos and active online presence that attract huge fan base, live music-making have always been in the center of the two musicians’ attention. Beside a number of sold-out tour of their own (US, Japan, Europe), the duo has showed up in several television shows like the popular television series GLEE. The Michael Jackson memorial episode, where they performed the song "Smooth Criminal" with Naya Rivera has been so successful that it opened on the 10th position of the "Billboard Hot 100 Digital Songs" list.
After the huge success they come on stage in such outstanding events and venues as Madison Square Garden, the Paris Olympia, the diamond anniversary of II. Elizabeth’s coronation and the Emmy Award in Los Angeles. They have cooperated with such famous musicians and bands as Andrea Bocelli, George Michael, the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Queens of the Stone Age and James Newton Howard, the legendary film music composer as well.
They have reworked Wake Me Up by Avicii and We Found Love by Rihanna ft. Calvin Harris. On their latest album, have been published earlier this year, they play one song of Sting, Michael Jackson, the Mumford & Sons, Muse, Radiohead, AC/DC and Paul McCartney. Sulic and Hauser arrive to Budapest with this great selection.
