This is an enormous opportunity for the movie to access millions of people.

There are so many good films in the world but only a few of these productions can make their way to the crowds. Now Hungary’s 2017 Oscar entry, ‘On Body and Soul’ will have this chance: the movie will be available for streaming on Netflix.

The film, starring Alexandra Borbély and Géza Morcsányi will be available on the streaming platform from the 21st of February 2018. According to the contract signed with Netflix, Ildikó Enyedi’s movie will be accessible from the USA, Canada, South America (except for Brazil), South Africa, India, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Bhutan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and Mongolia.

This is fantastic, but we shouldn’t forget about Europe. According to hvg.hu, HBO and HBO GO will also stream ‘On Body and Soul’ from February next year. The film will be available only at these two platforms in Hungary and 19 other European countries.

It is also important to mention that ‘On Body and Soul’ is being screened in cinemas in Germany, Sweden and the United Kingdom since September, and in Norway, France, and Switzerland since October this year. And it is just the beginning of the story. ;)
