You can take part in exciting and colorful events and programs without spending a penny.
Budapest is not an expensive city, and even if you are planning a very low-budget vacation with your family this year, you don't have to worry about getting bored. In addition to strolling in the city, there are many other exciting attractions and programs where there is no entrance fee. In addition, much less people knows about these places than the most well-known sights, so there won't be such a big crowd.

Kincsem Park has many of these races all year round, and the entry to the weekend trotting and gallop competitions is completely free, so if we don't want to bet, we can watch the events for free.

The permanent exhibition of Hungarian National Gallery, Museum of Fine Arts, Museum of Applied Arts and Hungarian National Museum are free on the third Saturday of each month, while Museum of Ethnography and the Hungarian Natural History Museum is free on the first Sunday of each month.
