In the game called The Lost Bridge, we explore the old city center of Budapest looking for treasures, and then we get back to today on an adventurous journey.
A new video game is always a good thing, but in quarantine, it’s a real gift. We found a new, special (and in addition free) game: The Lost Bridge which is both a sightseeing and a treasure hunt. It's like taking a creative walk in Budapest as a time traveler: the walkable area is the bridge and its surroundings a few hundred meters, but from here you can see a much larger slice of the city. In one direction we can see and observe the Petőfi Bridge and in the other direction to Margaret Island.

In the game, we take a guided tour sometime in the first half of the 40s, meanwhile we collect well-hidden contemporary coins. However, to put them all together, we have to deviate from the proposed route... Meanwhile, contemporary music and radio broadcasts are played, old posters decorate the walls and evoke the atmosphere of the age.
The reward of the game is a cool sightseeing boat trip with the former St. Imre steamer. And the exploring doesn't end here. We first go to the times after the siege of Budapest, and then we have to find our way back to the present.
The game is a first person view (FPV) PC game with a free-to-discover track, route suggestions, stress-free and non-violent gameplay. Download it here.
