Budapest is getting built in Minecraft

If you love Budapest and you are a fan of Minecraft, you will love this.

There are already a lot of real-life locations like New York City rebuilt in the virtual world of Minecraft but there are still a lot to do in there. Now the youngest architects-to-be are invited to help create some parts of our capitals in a project known as MineBudapest.

Until 10 May, kids and anyone who is interested can help build the virtual city. Four categories are available right now: the Ervin Szabó Library, Kecskeméti Street, Károly Gardens and Szent László Hospital.

How to participate? It’s easy. First go to and register, then begin your construction in Minecraft. Once your building is complete, submit it for approval. Top three winners will be rewarded, of course.
