Gourmet Festival is the celebration of the best Hungarian restaurants, wineries, chefs and confectioners, brewers and producers, and all us gastronomy lovers. The biggest gastronomy festival in the region is organized every spring and brings the country's best to a huge outdoor tasting venue. Colorful nights, with famous foreign chefs and many unforgettable programs await between 16-19 May.
This years main themes are paprika, bread and wine. Similarly to the previous years, the organizers only gave selected keywords so the participating teams of more than 50 exhibitors, so they could associate freely, how they want to introduce the best of their kitchen and their favorite dishes and specialties.
Not only Hungarian restaurants but also foreign chefs will show what they know: the two Michelin-star owner Konstantin Filippou, the best Austrian chef will be here with his fusion kitchen combining Austrian and Mediterranean cuisine. Lee Jong Kuk from Seoul brings his sauces and marinades matured for decades, while the Russian twin chefs of Twin Garden bring the creatively processed ingredients from their huge homeland to Millenáris.
